  • Antigua Guatemala quickly became one of my favorite places. The vibrant streets, lined with colonial-era buildings and framed by towering volcanoes, gave me a sense of peace and adventure all at once. I fell in love with Antigua's food and coffee scene—the aromas of freshly brewed local coffee and the richness of Guatemalan cuisine are impossible to resist. Each café and restaurant offered something unique, from traditional dishes to modern takes on Latin flavors.

What truly made Antigua stand out was its perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether I was exploring the cobblestone streets or hiking up to the volcanoes, there was always something to keep me inspired. The locals were incredibly welcoming, but the moment they discovered my last name was Chapin, their smiles widened, and I instantly felt like I belonged. Their kindness and warmth made the experience even more special. Antigua is a city where the past meets the present, and every corner tells a story. It’s a destination I can’t wait to share with other travelers.
