Sweet Pickled Onions
Excellent on tacos, salads, and sandwiches.



  1. Peel and chop onion or shallots. Set them aside in a mason jar. 
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, vinegar, salt, sweetener, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and then quickly remove from heat.
  3. Pour vinegar mix into mason jar. When the jar is room temperature, store in the fridge. 
  4. Use as a garnish for salads, tacos, sandwiches, and more!
